At least as far as getting things diagnosed and fixed before you go back out. I wouldn't waste my time at the strip until you at least run some ECU diags, resolve the BC issues and go through all the hoses and such for boost leaks or other oddities. After that is done, definitely get it tuned and get that powerband as efficient as possible. The number matters little if that band is nice and fat! As far as chips/tuning go, the Z32 is still in the relatively early stages of standalones with only a very small percentage running them. Of those, most have a quality shop nearby to handle things or they know what they are doing themselves. If you don't fall into either of those categories, you might consider going with what works even though it might not be the very best. A simple JWT chip, an AFC and a good tuning session will get you ready for the strip. Then you can hone your skills, knock off a tenth or two here and there. When you're all out of ideas and tricks and you're driving like a pro, then maybe consider the standalone. By then, it might be closer to (but not quite) a "drop-in" solution. Right now that is not the case. Either way, get some tires and get the kinks worked out! Good luck.
